There are two basic ways to transfer Neopoints. To receive your Neopoints, you must use one of the two transfer methods; the shop method or the trading post method. Click below to find out more information on these two types of transfer methods!

Shop is the easiest, safest and most preferred method of transferring Neopoints. It is easy, fast, and highly undetectable by the Neopets Team. Millions of items are bought everyday on Neopets.com, so chances of the Neopets Team checking your shop is very slim. To use this method, put the right amount junk items in your shop and set them at 99,999 Neopoints. The items in your shop should add up to what you have purchased. So for example, if you purchased 1,000,000 Neopoints, put eleven junk items in your shop and set ten at 99,999 Neopoints and one at 10 Neopoints. We will then buy your items and you would receive your full amount of 1,000,000 Neopoints. After you receive your Neopoints, go to your "Shop History" and click "Clear Sales History" to erase any traces of the transaction.

Trading Post is faster than Shop Transferring, however it has more risk to it. Transferring Neopoints through the Trading Post can be more suspicious to the Neopets Team, because someone is trading a junk item for a lot of Neopoints. Even if it is your own Neopets account, the Neopets Team has been known to freeze people! To use this method, you create trades equal to the amount of Neopoints you have purchased. One trade can receive up to 800,000 Neopoints (Maximum amount). If you buy 1,000,000 Neopoints, create two lots and you will receive 800,000 Neopoints on one lot, and 200,000 Neopoints on another!

One method of transferring an item is the Gifting method. The gifting is the easiest, and fastest way to transfer an item. After you purchase an item, we will gift the item to your account, and you will have three days to accept it. This has minimal freezing rate out of the two transfer methods.

Using the Trading Post to transfer is more work than Gifting, after you purchase an item, you set up a trade with a junk item, and we will bid on it with the item you purchased. This method has average freezing rate, because The Neopets Team may find it suspicious someone is offering a good item for a junk item.
